I created this abstract painting as a composition of layered memories, reflections, and shifting architectural forms — fragments connected through texture, rhythm, and light.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the surface through multiple layers using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Cool blue-grey tones interact with warm brown, beige, ivory, and white passages, creating contrast and depth while preserving a calm neutral atmosphere.

The composition is intentionally fragmented and structured, with geometric transitions, softened edges, and expressive marks flowing across the canvas. Areas of density dissolve into lighter open spaces, while textured layers and subtle drips create movement and visual rhythm.

I wanted this painting to feel both architectural and atmospheric — grounded in structure, yet open and fluid at the same time. The textured surface interacts beautifully with natural light, revealing delicate nuances of silver-blue, warm earth tones, soft ivory, and charcoal undertones throughout the day.
