In this work, I explore how time, erosion, and memory carve their way through matter, leaving behind traces that feel both broken and unexpectedly whole. The painting is not a literal view of a place, but the inner landscape that remains after something has shifted, cracked, or been worn away.

“Fragmented Landscape” speaks to the way we carry our personal and collective histories: not as smooth, continuous narratives, but as overlapping fragments that shape who we are. Each ridge and rupture in the surface becomes a visual echo of the fractures we experience—loss, change, displacement—yet the composition ultimately holds together. In this tension between fracture and cohesion, I search for a sense of grounding, and for the quiet possibility of renewal embedded in the scarred and layered ground.

Materials used:

Mixed Media ( Acrylic, Modeling paste, Gold leaf, oil pastel, sand, glass) on canvas
