A piece in the series of paintings portraying little snippets of everyday life that sometimes (usually) can be overlooked. The idea behind it is to "zoom in" on the mundane things to rediscover beauty in those ordinary moments.
This is my favorite moment in the morning run - after thirty minutes of feet hitting the ground, accompanied with sweat and heavy pulse I finally reach that perfect spot by the river; fresh spring grass is covered with morning dew, sun rays are hopping playing in between fresh droplets making the green oasis sparkle in its morning glory. I take off my shoes and feel the welcoming blades of grass tickle my toes, I take a deep breath, then exhale, then again, I stand there, I am there, in the beautiful ordinary moment of my beautifully ordinary morning...
