This oil painting is part of my origami-inspired series, where folded paper forms become vessels of metaphor and memory.
Here, delicate daffodils—constructed through precise, angular folds—float across a vast sky, as if caught between wind and stillness, light and shadow. Each flower began as a simple form, transformed through structure and intention, much like how we evolve through experience.
The soft blues and muted golds reflect a sense of clarity and calm, while the drifting clouds and circular frame suggest cycles—of seasons, of thought, of life itself. I wanted this piece to feel both weightless and grounded, blooming in the space between the real and the imagined.
