I love this view of Staithes, the beautifully picturesque and historic fishing village on the East Yorkshire coast. With its links to Captain Cook, the cottages give a sense of what the village must have been like 300 years ago. This view across the foreshore allows for dramatic artist effect, using watercolour washes as an underpainting before then applying soft pastel.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box and sent via a tracked courier.
A certificate of authenticity will be provided.
