This watercolour painting captures the atmosphere of a summer feast, capturing the moment of shashlik cooking on a grill.
I tried to convey the texture of the roasted meat and the heat of the coals with the help of rich warm colors and soft smoky washes. The metallic sheen of the skewers and grill, the smoke rising upwards and the green grass all around create a lively, almost tangible scene.
