The motivation why Fontana cut the canvas was for go over the classic and do some new in a moment when almost all seems to already said. Fontana Canvas was all monochrome . In this case let's put Fontana meet Pollock famous for use a lot of shade of color and give both a way , in my mind of course , to use more light color , so we have unusual color for Pollock and cut canvas for go over but also looking at the moment for Fontana.
The result should be give more choice for you , in some day you can stay in the front and some other you can fly over the canvas .
