"The Idea of Flying Without a Body"

In the series "Between the Dark and Divine," this painting serves as a portal to the metaphysical core of human longing—a visceral exploration of the boundless desire to transcend our mortal coil.
Inspired by the fleeting forms of clouds on a dark, stormy sky close to dawn, Ovidiu Kloska weaves a narrative of freedom and ascension. His fascination with the idea of flying without physical restrictions takes center stage, inviting the viewer to imagine the liberation of spirit from the confines of the flesh.
As in many of his major works, Kloska introduces a crepuscular light that infuses the painting with a dreamy, oneiric quality. This interplay of light and shadow hypnotizes the viewer, drawing them deeper into the fluidity of the colors and the abstract textures.
