Original artwork description
Painted on-site at the Sensory Garden of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features an oak tree whose branches are flowing down a hillside. The leaves of the tree are saturated with autumn color in the fading evening light, and display shades of bronze and rose gold with highlights of golden yellow and orange. To the left some bricks from the wall of the nearby garden peek through the branches, and ornamental grasses sweep up the side of the hill.
Painted with both brush and palette knife. Iridescent bronze, gold, and rose gold oil paint are incorporated into the thickly textured foliage.
Ships unframed, with painted sides and wire on back for hanging.
