Every so often I like to sketch ordinary, mundane objects that I find around me. It's a relaxing time after working on a more complex painting.
This time I was inspired by these new flowers that I have in my garden. They come from a bulb just like tulips and hyacinths and were planted last autumn. Unfortunately, I can't remember what they are called!
I painted them a la prima, enjoying the sun that finally came out after a long winter.
