Many years ago, Interior Scenes comprised a large percentage of my total Output. Early in my career, a Matisse was a huge influence for me, and his interiors always inspired me. These past few years I have taken up some other subjects, but I still do love composing a room, with flowers, art, and warm and cheerful details and patterns... I have been for used more on interiors these past months while decorating my little Nest in Menton, France, so it makes perfect sense I would come back to finally depicting an interior scene. The canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed.
