Original artwork description:

Made as a tribute to peace makers and anti-war protesters all over the world.
Flowers put into the barrel of a gun was documented when demonstrators marched against the Vietnam war outside the Pentagon in 1967.

This collage on mount board uses a background of a vintage British target card as the starting point before centrally placing an air pistol with tiny flowers exploding from the barrel all carefully cut from old books and magazines.

Finally the piece is elevated from A4 black paper using foam pads and presented in a black acrylic deep box frame with real glazing ready to hang or stand on a shelf.
