Abstract impressionist landscape, 60x60cm.
Every year I visit the North Pembrokeshire coast in Wales. This beautiful and remote place is characterised by National trust protected footpaths, and notably coast paths. The Irish sea is dramatic, and the beaches and cliffs are remarkably beautiful and wild. As St David's, where I stay is on a mini peninsula the light is fantastic, and very gentle. It is a place which has endless inspiration for me, and I love to work en plein air whist I am there.
I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
