Original artwork description
The Flatiron Building when completed in 1902 was one of the tallest skyscrapers in New York. This year it turns 120 years old. For this reason, I announce that I will paint this subject many times over the course of the year, to celebrate the fame it deserves. For the first painting in the series, I chose black and white to highlight the elegant and slender form. This is one of the subjects that I really love to paint because it enhance my technique with the stencil, devoid of nuances and full of color contrasts.
