This painting is inspired from a recent trip to the Oregon Coast near Garibaldi. The fishing boats sometimes get quite close to the shore with their bright lights for fishing at night time. I've always been intrigued by working boats of all kinds. The artwork beautifully captures a seascape, portraying a boat navigating through rolling waves under a vibrant sky. The colors of the sunset in the background blend seamlessly, creating a warm contrast with the dark, restless water in the foreground. The depiction of movement in the waves is dynamic, conveying the powerful force of the sea. The silhouetted boat adds a sense of solitude and adventure, framed by distant birds that enhance the scene’s narrative.
