Original artwork description
One of the most typical scenes in Istanbul is the fishermen on the Galata Bridge. They tirelessly try to catch fish in the heat of the summer and under the snow in the winter, some for pleasure and some for sale.
In the background, you can see the Süleymaniye Mosque, the magnificent work of the famous architect Mimar Sinan, which also houses the tomb of Ottoman Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent.
Years ago, I made the same painting as a pastel work and sent it to my dear customer who liked it.
