Original artwork description
We are all aware of the plastic that has found its way into our oceans, and how it is effecting fish and all manner of sea life. I constructed this piece from plastic netting that I found, and knew that it would eventually end up in landfill or in the sea. Strangely the fish shapes were already visible to me in the netting. I attached the net to a deep edged canvas and applied an aqua blue, acrylic paint wash to the background and sides. Ready to hang. Free shipping within the UK.
