Original artwork description
The details in this encaustic are extraordinary, but not at the expense of the whole, a painting that realizes its subject matter purely in the abstract concepts of "light" and "winter" and "flowers", but that doesn't not represent except in the vaguest sense. A painting that I believe will reward sustain and repeated looking, this will look best in a hallway, or bathroom, or kitchen, or combined with other paintings that pick up upon its dominate shades of light green, teal, aqua, white, silver, and violet.
Materials used:
encaustic paint, powdered pigment, oil stick on cradled panel
Details:
- Painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 30.48 x 30.48 x 5.08cm (unframed) / 30.48 x 30.48cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the back
- Style: Abstract
- Subject: Abstract and non-figurative
