"First Light of Day" was inspired by shimmering clouds at sunrise and the journey from darkness to dawn. Gold leaf accents mirror the interplay of light and shadow. The number 5 in the painting symbolizes growth and change, while the flower of life symbolizes the cycle of life. With "First Light of Day", I intended to capture the breathtaking spectacle of sunrise and the profound transformation it brings.
