Original artwork description:
This is the second of my "Atoll" series of artworks which are all inspired by the shapes and colours of different corals and their cells.
I went back to previous artworks called Luminescence as I still felt there was something else I needed to do with the work I did for them and have been re-working my drawings to create these new coloured pieces.
The finish piece is raised up from the backing on foam board plinths so that shadows can be created with the light shining through.
