Fire and ice: the legacy of the Aesir. This abstract oil painting captures the chaotic yet harmonious energy of the Norse gods, embodying the struggle between the elements – the fire of Muspelheim and the ice of Niflheim. Vibrant yellows and reds symbolize the flames of Surtr, destructive and all-consuming, while cool blues and greens reflect the primordial power of ice and fog, from which the world was born. Intertwining textures and sharp color contrasts create a sense of the eternal battle between the forces of order and chaos embodied in Norse mythology.
