Light pervades the artist's entire poetics, a dazzling light that transforms the real colors of things into shadows, enhancing their textures, a light that bestows lightness and suspends everything in the void, a light that moves within the work and elevates even the most banal object. In her work, nature explodes and expands, carried by the wind; wild herbs, Mediterranean shrubs, petals and seeds fly far away, like the observer's sensations and impressions.
Milena's paintings always feature powdered pigments, creating rough, textured surfaces. She loves corrosion, carving, and carving, and uses excellent protective and consolidating products that guarantee resistance to time and external agents, unaffected by dust, sunlight, or humidity. The artist has discovered unique formulas and techniques that she jealously guards.
