I have a particular fascination for Renée Perle, Romanian model, the most famous muse of Jacques Henri Lartigue, legendary French photographer/painter, and his lover. He met her in Paris and with whom he created images that remained in the history of photography, fashion, timeless elegance and without artifice.
This painting is inspired by a black and white photo of him imagined with my colors! Painted with high quality Italian colors on cotton canvas, stretched over a pine frame. The painting is new.
