I have been inspired by how mountains seem to suggest figures in the landscape. My visits to Hanging Rock in the Mt. Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia definitely have had a strong visual influence on me recently. I wanted to capture the figures as almost invisible and part of the scene, melting or fusing together. The picture is positive and the paint is applied as lusciously.
