Original artwork description:

Straw To The Wind.
A series of 3 big watercolour paintings (Straw, Figures, Machine) worked between 1978 and 1981 in my first studio at Wapping, London. The style, muted colours and content of these works reflect the scale and derelict environment of the grand and dilapidated riverside warehouses at that time. The three were worked on both simultaneously and sequentially, watercolour painting allows this as colour washes dry, and as seen together make a triptych. I'd love it if the three would be seen together.
