Original linocut print – limited edition
Rolling fields patchworked with vibrant tones—this print is a celebration of late spring to midsummer, when the countryside bursts into bold, joyful colour. Inspired by walks through the Malvern Hills, Fields of Colours captures the energy and rhythm of the land, where cultivated rows and wild borders meet in harmony.
Each layer of this linocut was carved and printed by hand using the reduction method, where the block is gradually cut away between each colour. That means no two prints are quite the same—each holds its own subtle textures and tiny quirks from the making process.
This piece is part of my seasonal collection, reflecting the shifting hues and patterns of the British landscape.
