Abstract floral painting. I paint intuitively until an abstract field of flowers begins to appear on my canvas. I start with mark making and add my chosen acrylic colour palette. As I begin to imagine a field of flowers I paint into the negative space until in my mind's eye I can visualise a field of flowers.
