Original artwork description
This is one of the many corn fields that is grown in the rural area where I reside. I enjoyed the way the light was bouncing from the heads of the corn, and the clouds appeared to rhythmically dance across the sky. It is painted in a very traditional impressionist manner as a series of colour notes to capture the abstract nature of the corn plantation. It is on canvasboard (canvas attached to board) and has been left to dry for a year before being varnished.

Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
