This painting was born from my deep love for Sicily and my fascination with its ability to turn even the simplest moments into pure magic, in A Symphony of Passion. Embracing the Fiat 500 in Christmas Palermo, I wanted to capture the feeling of a Sicilian Christmas evening, when the city glows with warmth, joy, and the scent of festive air.

The Fiat 500, painted in vibrant red, stands as a symbol of love, nostalgia, and timeless Italian charm. I spent over eighty hours working on this piece, using impasto and impressionistic brushstrokes to build texture and light — so you can almost feel the cobblestones underfoot and the glow of lanterns reflecting on the car’s surface.

For me, this work is not only about a car or a city, but about the miracle of Christmas in Sicily — a reminder that beauty lives in every corner, every reflection, and every heartbeat of this island. I hope that when you look at this painting, you feel the same warmth and wonder that inspired me to create it.
