This painting was inspired by a real fern I found in the forest.
I was drawn to its quiet presence —
the way it unfolds naturally, without effort,
existing in its own rhythm.
I didn’t want to idealize it.
I wanted to capture its texture, its movement,
the way light touches the surface and disappears again.
For me, the fern represents something very simple and very true —
life growing in silence.
No performance. No noise. Just existence.
The layers of paint follow the organic structure of the leaf,
echoing the raw beauty of nature as it is.
