When painting this scene, I wanted to capture the festive spirit and romance of a Parisian winter night. The glowing Christmas market and the Eiffel Tower in the distance set the backdrop, while the warm candles, coffee, and croissant on the table convey a sense of coziness and intimacy. The couple holding hands symbolizes love and companionship, while the falling snow adds a poetic and dynamic touch to the composition.
I used bold contrasts of color—the deep blue night sky against the warm golden lights—to emphasize the difference in atmosphere and temperature. The textured brushstrokes depict the movement of snow and the flicker of light, giving rhythm and life to the scene. By layering the foreground and background, I aimed to let the viewer experience both the festive bustle outside and the peaceful intimacy inside.
