My abstract painting draws inspiration from the raw emotion and layered ambiguity of abstract expressionism, particularly the work of Gerhard Richter. I am fascinated by how Richter balances chance and control, allowing texture, scraping, and colour to speak beyond literal form. In this piece, bold reds and deep shadows collide to create movement and tension, inviting viewers to experience feeling before meaning. Each brushstroke becomes a record of instinct, memory, and the energy of the moment, in every single layer.
