My followers know that I love to spend quality time in the forest, walking, painting and sketching all that I can see.
This was painted in my forest studio on a very cold and grey day in February, at Elveden forest in Suffolk.
It shows the trees and undergrowth beside a small lake, near my cabin. The whole area was teeming with wildlife, squirrels, deer, and birds, so I loved to sketch outside in the cold, and return to the warm studio to paint.
It measures 18” x 14” unframed, is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
