This evocative oil painting, FAREWELL, captures a moment suspended between departure and reflection — a quiet confrontation with change, solitude, and resilience. The lone figure, seated beside the railway, invites the viewer into an atmosphere of introspection. With her intense gaze and defiant posture, she seems to carry an untold story — one that could echo with memories from your own life, or remind you of how far you've come.

The work explores the emotional space between holding on and letting go. Whether viewers feel personally connected or distant yet empathetic, the piece offers a quiet emotional release. As with many of my works, FAREWELL was created with the belief that art heals — and this painting has already touched many.

Selected for the WOMAN'S ESSENCE SHOW 2025, this piece was recognized for its powerful artistic expression, unique vision, and technical mastery. I am honored to be among the artists receiving the WAA Woman Art Award 2025 for this work.
