This mixed-media collage belongs to Disjointed Reality, a body of work that examines how memory, perception, and emotional experience fracture and reassemble over time. Layered bands of paper, paint, and mark-making intersect like interrupted timelines—stacked, scraped, and partially obscured.

The strong horizontal and vertical structures suggest order and containment, while the distressed surfaces, splatters, and erasures introduce instability and rupture. What appears solid dissolves on closer inspection, revealing traces of earlier gestures beneath the surface.

This piece invites sustained viewing, asking the viewer to move through moments of tension, pause, and recalibration—mirroring the way memory is held, disrupted, and quietly reformed.

You will receive a certificate of authenticity on the back of your painting and it is ready to hang with hardware attached. It is sprayed with an archival coating.
