Original Oil painting by Ukrainian artist Alisa Onipchenko
Fading Light captures a moment where the night begins to dissolve into silence.
A distant moon breaks through the clouds, its reflection barely holding onto the surface of the water. The composition is intentionally restrained, allowing the atmosphere to dominate over form.
The light is not stable — it fades, shifts, and disappears into the surrounding darkness, creating a sense of distance and quiet tension.
Painted in oil with soft transitions and minimal texture, the surface remains calm, supporting the subtle movement of light.
Part of the “In the Moonlight” series, exploring silence, reflection, and the fragile presence of light in darkness.
One of a kind artwork. Ready to hang.
