Before you on the canvas is a biblical story from the Garden of Eden, seen in my imagination.
Adam and Eve lived in harmonious symbiosis with animals and nature and everything was ideal... Until the moment when Eve bit into the apple from the forbidden tree of knowledge.
I wondered how the first two people probably experienced this dramatic moment that radically changed their lives. They must have been racked by very strong emotions, which I tried to express through painting - also using symbolism that is unique to me.
I symbolically painted emotions, but also a new reality, with a blue background color, which replaced the colorful backgrounds that you see in my paintings when they both lived in the Garden of Eden.
Adam's facial expression and pose indicate that he is disillusioned, disappointed, but also slightly angry with Eve's actions and demands an explanation from Eve.
Eve has her back to Adam and her head is bowed, suggesting that she is ashamed and sad.
Despite the heavier emotions, the observer perceives that both characters are united by an unwavering love. This love will overcome even the most difficult obstacles...
