Exmouth III, Image size 36.6 x 54.9 cm, is from a series of photographs "Nouveaux chemins et voies de mémoire" ("New paths and memory lanes") which tracks the journey made from Eperney to Josselin in France, and then home, by the Artist and her husband in September 2022. As always with Parr's photographs they have been made as she searched the streets of, as the series title suggests, some new and some well known from her past destinations. The photographs are named as where found. When she is traveling and away from her painting studio, Parr uses a camera as her way of ‘painting’ whilst on the move, Often mistaken as reproductions of her paintings, her photographs are Original Limited Edition pieces.
