Excluded Time is a meditation on the spaces we grow through, the moments that slip between memory and meaning. Built through layered collage, acrylic, and graphite, the piece holds a rhythmic tension — vertical structures rising and dissolving, fractured shapes pressing forward and pulling back, like the passage of time itself negotiating for place.

This work from my Disjointed Reality series focuses on what gets left behind and what unexpectedly remains. The muted palette — rust, ochre, cream, slate, and soft blue-green — creates an emotional architecture that feels both vulnerable and strong. Each strip and fragment becomes a record of shifting truths, the reconstruction of a life that never stays still.

The piece invites quiet reflection. It’s about time that didn’t fit, time that didn’t wait, and time that taught its own kind of clarity.

My work explores the spaces where memory and emotion intersect — where beauty is found in the undone, the imperfect, the repaired. Through layering, erasure, and intuitive mark-making, I seek to reveal what exists beneath surface and silence. Disjointed Reality is both a personal reconstruction and an invitation for others to find themselves within the fractures.
