Ex Boyfriends 3 by Ukrainian artist Inga Makarova is part of a raw, evocative series that transforms worn denim into emotional topography. This panel features the details of a waistband—belt loops, stitches, a single buttonhole – preserved in enamel like a fossilized gesture.

This sculpture tells a quiet story. It may be about someone who left, or someone who stayed too long. Or it may simply mark a shift in identity—the way old clothes sometimes do. Made from real jeans and deeply textured, this work invites you to look at fashion through the lens of feeling.
