This painting captures the stillness of the countryside at dusk — that magical moment when the sky turns violet and the last light clings to the land. The glowing orange field dotted with round hay bales feels like a memory, familiar yet slightly surreal.
I was inspired by the contrast between the warmth of the harvested earth and the cool vastness of the sky. The round forms of the bales became quiet sentinels of the day's labor, resting beneath a deepening twilight.
