This mountain landscape, inspired by the majestic Snowdonia Welsh landscape, brings together contemporary Impressionism and semi-abstract, free, expressive brushwork. In this original oil painting, cool blue peaks, deep rocky valleys, and warm earthy slopes form an atmospheric landscape in which colour and movement convey the power and ever-changing character of mountain nature.

I painted this work after visiting Wales, deeply moved by its mountains — rugged, monumental, yet extraordinarily beautiful. Rather than depicting a particular view, I wanted to preserve the feeling I brought home with me: a sense of freedom, vastness, and the almost primal power of nature.
