While creating this painting, I wanted to capture the fleeting warmth hidden within the blur of a city night. The reflections of lights on the wet pavement, the stalls and figures blending together — all form a living, breathing dreamscape. Using thick impasto strokes and swift movements of the brush, I sought to express the coexistence of noise and solitude, inviting viewers to feel the pulse of life through the clash of colors.
I used the impasto technique to give the paint a tactile vitality that catches the light. The contrast between cool night tones and warm lights conveys the rhythm of passing time. My brushstrokes are loose and rhythmic, deliberately leaving unblended patches of color to preserve the raw, spontaneous energy of the scene.
