Landscape of Auvergne, France.

From my studio window, this landscape is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, rooted in a constant exploration of the sky's metamorphoses.

By observing the same view every day, I seek to capture the ephemeral. Here, it is the precise moment of transition when the clouds sculpt the space before fading into the night. Below, the dark silhouette of the mountains acts as a fixed, dramatic anchor, revealing the full scale of this celestial spectacle.

In this piece, I wanted to freeze this captivating interplay between light and matter: beneath the sun's last low-angled rays, the clouds become true sculptures of vapor, bathed in a delicate harmony of blues, pinks, and gold.

Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.
