When Anne Baudequin paints, the sky is almost always the source of inspiration. She invariably begins with the sky. This is her favorite painting moment. She takes up the fascinating and complex challenge of rendering both the mass and the lightness of the clouds, of painting their luminous shadow and fixing them on the canvas by making their mobility felt.
This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.
This artwork will be packaged rolled in a tube. Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.
Materials used:
This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
