ABOUT THE ART WORK
The painting depicts Amalfi at evening, one of the most picturesque towns in southern Italy, where the sea, cliffs, and architecture merge into a harmony of light and color. The canvas is filled with the soft glow of sunset, as the last rays of sunlight touch the pastel facades of the houses cascading down the mountainside. Their walls, painted in ochre, terracotta, and cream tones, reflect the golden-pink light of the fading day.
