In this series, I explore the facets of female nature through the symbolism of the pearl—the only gemstone born of a living being. To me, the pearl is more than an ornament; it is a metaphor for lived experience, layered over time into something perfect. The three colors of the series—white, pink, and black—reflect distinct states of the soul: clarity of thought, tenderness of feeling, and a hidden, sometimes mystical strength.
