Original artwork description
Estella's Dress is one of a series of dress portraits from my 'Out of the Wardrobe' series and was made using layers of watercolours, textured gesso, and inks. Some areas were painted through lace to enhance the effect of fabric.
This painting was shortlisted for the for the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour and also the Royal West of England open exhibitions.
3 more of my dress paintings were selected for the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour exhibition and exhibited at the Mall Galleries 2018 and 2019. Paintings from this series have been sold to collectors from USA, Uk, Australia and Germany.
Although this painting is currently professionally framed with a white wood box frame and museum quality non-reflective glass, and is ready to hang, please note that I am selling it here UNFRAMED. However, if you are interested in purchasing it framed please enquire re: additional costs. If you happen to live in or near London, I may be able to arrange reasonably priced delivery for the framed piece.
