Escape IX is a painting entirely created from my imagination. I used linear perspective to make the architectural composition with a row of cypress trees.
There is direct sunlight and diffuse light that appears in the shadows as intense red.
The sea was made as a simple triangle with an even cobalt blue color. The absence of details, reflections, and waves makes the sea seem more distant, which deepens the space and creates a calming atmosphere. However, the intense red gives a necessary dose of energy for the viewers to walk inside the painting in their own perception and imagination.
The painting is signed on the back and ready to hang.
