Embroidery on fabric
A composition of drawings that could run within the pages of the first edition or even better the manuscript of "Erotokritοs" (a romance in verse, written by Vitsentzos Kornaros, poet of the Cretan Renaissance, at the beginning of the 17th century). While embroidering the composition I used to listen to the well-known melodies that accompanied the poem over the years and others written for Erotokritos by contemporary favorite composers. Embroidering the artwork was a break from reality, an excuse to escape into a love story in which I sew on the velvet, teenage fantasies and expectations of love, my old refuges.
